Introduction

Sponge iron deaerator is a kind of deaeration device. Water containing oxygen enters the deaerator and passes through the filter material layer of sponge iron. Because of the huge specific surface area of this special sponge iron filter material, the dissolved oxygen in water can be thoroughly oxidized with iron, thus removing the oxygen from the water.

海绵铁除氧器算是化学除氧,它采用专门生产的活性海绵铁来去除水中溶解氧。海绵铁主要成分具有疏松多孔的内部结构。在相同质量下,其表面积是普通铁屑的5万-10万倍,可与水中的氧发生迅速彻底的氧化反应并使溶解氧稳定0.05mg/L以下。
Sponge iron deaerator is chemical deaeration, which uses specially produced active sponge iron to remove dissolved oxygen in water. The main component of sponge iron is porous internal structure. Under the same mass, its surface area is 50,000-100,000 times that of ordinary iron chips. It can react with oxygen in water rapidly and thoroughly and stabilize dissolved oxygen below 0.05 mg/L.

反应产物Fe(OH)2、Fe(OH)3为不易溶于水的絮状沉淀,当随着水流经其余的海绵铁颗粒时被拦截下来,只要用一定强度的反洗水流就可以冲洗干净。
Reaction products Fe(OH)2 and Fe(OH)3 are flocculent precipitates which are not easy to dissolve in water. When the water passes through other sponge iron particles, they are intercepted. Only a certain strength of backwashing water can be used to wash them out.

海绵铁的消耗量很低,根据处理水量与水质的不同,一般3 – 6个月补充一次即可。
(经过除氧后的中增加了少量的铁离子,一般为0.2 – 0.5mg/L,对于热水锅炉来说仍符合国家规定的水质标准,但对于蒸汽锅炉或对给水Fe2+有严格要求的给水除氧来说,可以加装除铁装置,去除水中的Fe2+)
作为水除氧剂的海绵铁是利用粒度在-200目以下的Fe3O4 粉末粘结在一起,粒度为2-5mm左右。因其还原过程发生置换反应,形成一定数量的空隙,还有粉末微粒粘结时的空隙,使得除氧剂孔隙极高,比表面积大,又因其为原生矿直接还原所得,相对纯净,所以活性极高,极与水中的氧发生反应生成Fe3O4,从而达到除氧目的。同时利用率也得到提高到90%以上。效果十分理想,出水含氧量降到0.05mg/L以下,处理每立方米水仅消耗25g左右,真正做到了高质量、低成本运行。
因不经软化的水易使除氧剂表面发生钝化,使其氧化减慢,而影响除氧效果,故应先软化再除氧。使用一段时间后,应进行反洗。
